Role Overview

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to a consistently high standard while delivering an engaging, efficient, and professional guest experience at the bar. This role combines technical execution with strong service awareness and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

1. Beverage Preparation & Service

- Prepare cocktails, spirits, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes.

- Maintain speed, accuracy, and consistency during service.

- Ensure correct glassware, garnishes, and presentation.

2. Guest Engagement

- Interact confidently with guests at the bar.

- Provide menu and beverage recommendations.

- Support upselling in line with service standards.

3. Operational Support

- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of bar stations.

- Follow stock handling, portioning, and waste control procedures.

- Support stock counts and deliveries as required.

4. Standards & Compliance

- Comply with hygiene, safety, and licensing regulations.

- Maintain professional grooming and brand representation.

- Support opening and closing bar procedures.

Candidate Requirements

- 2–4 years’ experience as a bartender in a quality venue.

- Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and bar service.

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.

- Professional attitude and strong teamwork skills.
