Role Overview

The Barback supports bar operations by ensuring bartenders have the tools, stock, and setup required to deliver fast and efficient service. This role is essential to maintaining bar flow, cleanliness, and service readiness during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities

1. Bar Support & Preparation

- Restock bar stations with spirits, mixers, garnishes, ice, and glassware.

- Ensure bar areas are fully prepared before service.

- Support bartenders during peak periods to maintain service speed.

2. Cleanliness & Organisation

- Maintain cleanliness of bar stations, storage areas, and back bar.

- Wash, polish, and restock glassware as required.

- Manage waste and recycling in line with standards.

3. Stock & Deliveries

- Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating bar stock.

- Support stock counts and inventory checks.

- Report shortages or issues to senior bar staff.

4. Standards & Discipline

- Follow hygiene, safety, and service procedures.

- Maintain professional appearance and conduct.

- Support opening and closing duties.

Candidate Requirements

- Previous bar or hospitality experience preferred but not essential.

- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
